This rich and distinctive aged Lao Bai Cha tea was grown in Wa Kan Shan of Simao, South Yunnan.  Made from  Qun Ti Zhong (Mixed cultivars) Yunnan Big Leaf Tea, it was grown at an altitude around 1600m.  This tea garden was first planted from seed in 1960. The trees are almost 60 years old and are considered old bush.  The local Wa Race farmers have practiced natural farming from the beginning of the garden and it has been certified organic ever since 2012. It is certified organic by EU and NOP standards.
