I was surprised by how different an overall feel this Sencha had compared to the Hiraki Asamushi. Both are great.
This Sencha was drier and had a more pronounced astringency. I thought it had more of a fresh-cut lawn flavor, as compared to the Hiraki Asamushi, which had more of rich broth vibe. I also got a lingering thing on the roof of the mouth from this one.
