Alishan High Mountain Oolong

(1 customer review)

$9.75 (from $0.14/cup)

The dark golden liquor has a medium body and the faint aroma of orchids. This tea has a deliciously buttery mouthfeel with a hint of almonds and a long lingering finish.

This is a very special tea. If you’re looking for an excellent Oolong tea from Taiwan, this is it. It hits all of the notes that I look for in a top shelf Taiwanese Oolong. Beautiful leaves, buttery mouthfeel, lingering finish, incredible aroma, golden color, and a balanced vibe. It’s just fantastic.

The gardens of the Alishan National Scenic Area in Chiayi County produce some of the most famous teas in Taiwan. This high mountain oolong was grown at an altitude of 1400 meters and was handpicked on April 20, 2020. The leaves have been rolled and lightly roasted to produce a beautiful vibrant tea with a light floral aroma and soft sweet flavor.
